I have a friend here in Florida who's mother is still getting 80's original formula. I seen the bottle which was filled on 12/29. So idk if it's a Dr's request thing which they claim or pharmacy still has them left. But him and her says Dr had to request it on script. Idk I just know I seen them last month. Any truth to this?? ## The only way she would still be able to get the original ones, with the OC marking is if the pharmacy still had some in stock. I cut a 30 mg Oxycontin in half and have already taken it. I didn't know the pill was time release until after taking it and I also took a whole one this morning. Should I go to the Emergency room? ## Unless you started experiencing dangerous overdose symptoms, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, vomiting, severe dizziness, severe drowsiness and shallow breathing, there would most likely be no need for the ER. If you're taking suboxone can you take a oxy for pain? Will it make you sick or not? ## Dear mjp it is not a good thing 2 take Oxy with subs. You could get very sick or it could be worse. Besides, suboxone blocks out the effects of Oxy. So, u wouldn't feel the Oxy. Mixing them is a no no. U must also b in withdrawals b 4 u can take the subs. ## No No!!! Why would you? Your on Suboxone for a reason. Suboxone blocks the effects. You could go into bad withdrawals or end up dead. ## You don't get sick. And you still feel the effects. I go back and forth all the time. I recently was told by my pharmacist that oxycontin8o mg.O.C. was no longer available thru Perdue. Perdue reformulated the medication and noe has O.P. instead of O.C>on the pill. This new formulation is very upsetting to my stomach. Please advise. ## There are a few pharmacies that still have the original product available, but this will only be until their supplies run out. Your pharmacist is correct, Purdue has changed the formulation and is no longer making the original product. There have been many complaints that it does not work as well as the original and about it causing unusual side effects. i would like to know if anyone know a pharmcy that still has the old oc oxycontin in or around minnesota ## It is actually very doubtful that you will still find it anywhere, due to the fact that Purdue has stopped manufacturing it. The places that had a supply of it where allowed to continue dispensing, but once they ran out, they had no choice but to order in the new formulation. Are there any other questions or comments?...

I am trying to find the OLD oxycontin SOME WHERE, ANYWHERE they worked, the new ones do not and have alot of side effects could any one give me the answer, can you buy them from Canada or where can I get them at. the doctor will not even raise the medicine for the break through pain.
