My husband had a false positive on a hair follicle test for methamphetamine and amphetamine and I think it is because he takes Amlodipine Besylate every day. The hair follicle test results were so high that he would have had to do meth everyday. I know for a fact that he does NOT do meth, but he does take the Amlodipine Besylate 10mg every day and Clonidine 1am & 1pm that is the only meds that he takes on a daily basis. I have been taking Armidex for breast cancer, and Triamterene and Hydrochlorothiazide, and Amlodipine Besylate for high blood pressure.
