col 116 on one side plain on the other ## Could you possibly mean the imprint code COR 116? If so then it is Acetaminophen 650 mg which is used as a pain reliever. If this is not what you have then can you please reply back with more details such as the size, shape, and color? ## Col 116,,oval,,white,,one side is plain ## At this point I am speculating that this is either an over-the-counter drug (non prescription) or a pharmaceutical product manufactured outside the United States. The reason is because this marking is not coming up with the FDA's standard drug imprints, and all U.S. based pharmaceutical products are required to have unique identification markings. Can you tell me what country you're writing in from? It might lend some more clues as to where to look... ## Probab...

Can bactrim ds 800 160 tab elevate blood pressure for someone who has hypertension but taking meds for that. ## Hi Paula, Based on my research, there have actually been several reports from other patients stating that Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim was the alleged cause of their hypertension. However it appears the manufacturer has failed to list hypertension in their drug monograph as a potential side effect. If you are experiencing such symptoms, my suggestion would be to keep track of and monitor your blood pressure before and after each dose. This way you can show your doctor the effect it's been having with proof over an extended or short period of time. I hope this helps!

There are several available over the counter, but if you've never had one before, you should see your doctor for a proper diagnosis and treatment protocol.
