My Nurse Practitioner wants me to take Lyrica 75mg. every day for pain. Looked up the side effects & am very apprehensive about this drug. Is anyone on here familiar w/ this drug? The prescribing information also states that, "acetaminophen, butalbital, and caffeine may also be used for other purposes not listed in this medication guide." - That said, I don't see why those ingredients wouldn't be of at least some help in so far as managing your back pain. I have taken 3 doses of Butalbital Acetaminophen Caffeine (50-325-40) within the last 9 hours. My last one being an hour ago. This is generic Fioricet (Butalbital 325mg / Acetaminophen 50mg / Caffeine 40mg) pain medication prescribed for severe migraine and sinus headaches. It has been around for decades.
