I've been prescribed buprenorphine for long acting pain management as well as Medication Assisted Treatment for 3 years in Palm Beach county Florida. I've always filled my prescriptions at Publix Pharmacy. I have 1 and 1/2 weeks left before I can refill. But Publix, all of them are saying their distributors are all out of stock. I've asked my pharmacist if this is normal, I was told no. I asked if he could find out quickly if this was permanent and he said he'd call both distributors to find out. Now, a week later, he's being evasive and says he hasn't gotten an answer. If I run out I could relapse, and I've been clean and sober for more than 8 years. I'm scared to death. Does anyone have any answers? ## Unfortunately, each month, every pharmacy is given ...

I'm looking for some feedback on the generic brands they only had sun pharma, actavis and hikma in my area of southwest Florida. Last month I picked up the brand hikma 54 411 from a grocery store/ pharmacy and my insurance covers/pays for most of my co pay which is always $45 monthly for my 120 pills. At this store they charged me 3 x that amount. I never heard of that..so now I'm thinking I might have to try the other of the 2. ## Hi Charlene, Sorry to hear about the unethical price gouging you encountered. While I don't have personal experience with those other manufacturers, I did want to add that someone else's experience with them doesn't necessarily dictate how your body will react or respond to the same medication; whereas the only way to know for certain is t...

I've been using Mylan Labs for about 3 1/2 years and now they're on back order indefinitely. I went to another drug store that carries Rhodes Buprenorphine 2mg Sublingual. No one else could get the Mylan Labs, so I tried Rhodes and at first, I had problems, but I had to get the Mylan get out of my system partially, but now it's just as good, if not better than Mylan. My question is, does anyone know if Rhodes is going to be on back order? I'm screwed if both pharma's are, because Hi-Tech/Akorn labs carry it, but they suck so bad! Thanks in advance! ## Hi it's hard to say if the new Rhodes will be on back order. I'm thinking knot. They are still fairly new a lot of Pharmacy's don't even know they exist. I'm from southwest Florida and when i learned...

I just transferred to the Louisville area from clearwater Florida. I have been taking buprenorphine for a couple years and it helps me to function in my job. I have disc degeneration in my back and this medication keeps me able to move in order to perform my job. I have been prescribed 30 8mg SL tablets per month from a renowned Heart Dr in Clearwater to keep me functioning. Who can I go to in the Louisville area that will help me with this?

These "Orange Half Moons" are thee best Subutex BY FAR on the market! I was taking 3 Oxycontin 80 mg pills per day and was prescribed this to get off of them. US Florida residents can print out a coupon online for Buprenorphine 8 m.g. @ 60 tablets you save $ 170.00. I do not have health insurance! ## Subutex, however, also carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Additionally, most doctors will not prescribe Subutex for most people, Suboxone is the preferred choice, unless it's being prescribed for a pregnant woman, or someone has a documented allergy to Naloxone. I am glad they are working so well for you. Can anyone else that's been on this medication chime in with their experi...

Are there any medicaid mma plans that covers suboxone ## Hi Chris, According to the link below, Medicaid coverage for medication like Suboxone is said to vary "considerably" by State. See FAQ #4 on the following patient list: buprenorphine.samhsa.gov/faq.html You didn't mention what State you were in, but Florida is the only State's program I'm seeing information on when I type in MMA, so just wanted to double check that. Looking online at Florida Medicaid's drug formulary, the closest thing I found to Suboxone (Buprenorphine + Naloxone) was a combination of Pentazocine + Naloxone. It may also be a good idea to contact your local Medicaid office (human resource department) for more specific details involving coverage and whether or not they allow any exceptions t...

I am try ing to get off suboxoneand xanax. I am taking about 1/8 of a 2mg suboxane 2 x a day and down to 1 .5mg xanax a day. I am getting blurred vision, confusion, anxiety, trouble sleeping. Tremors, When I take a little more suboxone, it goes away. I was down to 1/2a .5mg xanax and 1/4 to less of a suboxone a day, but the withdrawls from the suboxone ocurred w/in 2-3 days. diarrhea, sweats, anxiety, How do I gat off this with the least affects? ## Geographic location is Florida, I have been on Suboxone and Xanax for over a year and a half. Just want to know best way to stop taking it without the scary side-effects with the vision and tremors. ## The Buprenorphine in the Suboxone is a very potent narcotic, so it does require a very, very slow taper to stop taking it and avoid the bad w...
