Can I use betametasona clotrimazol gentamicina for underarm fungus/darkening? It itches from time to time, but my biggest problem is my skin is dark/black. Will this cream help? ## Hello, Johnny! I've used betametasona clotrimazol gentamicina ( Gelmicin Brand) For years specifically for itching in my crevices due to being overweight. Now a few years later I've have very thin skin in those crevices and I didn't realize that this cream had steroids! Should I assume this is what caused the thinning of my skin? Totally transparent in those areas specifically underneath my breasts. ## It is possible, though there's no way to say with certainty, but Betamethasone has been known to cause skin issues as side effects, including acne, and there are known to worsen with long-term use.
