I've been taking 60mg of Cymbalta for about a month and still feel the same. Is there anyone who could tell me more about this anti-depressant? ## Hi, Several people tell me the older Anti-depressants work best for them. Tofranil (or something like that) and others. Would withdrawal symptoms affect me after forgetting to take the medication for 4 days? OR Would I be getting withdrawal symptoms from dropping dosages in my lexapro? I have been on it for roughly 6 months and 3 weeks ago the dr told me to drop down to 10mg which I cut my 20's in half but I am constantly forgetting. I haven't taken them for 4 days until I remembered last night. I feel mentally and emotionally fine. I don't cry more then usual and circumstances have changed for me recently and I felt as though I no longer need anti depressants. I have been dealing with this for almost 9 months, no treatment what so ever, Dr says my insurance will not cover any type of treatment til my dease progress to stage 4, for the last two months every time I eat I feel sick at my stomach, my side hurts me all the time I could sleep 24/7 my energy is gone, an when I discuss this with my dr they suggest pain pills or anti depressants, my feet and legs swell an I am beginning to look pregnant which I am not. I have had fibro for over 20 years. I had been taking Lyrica for over 6 years and my pain was starting to increase so my Dr. weaned me off of Lyrica and started Savella at 25mg 2x a day. I had horrible side effects including nausea, intense sweating, suicidal thoughts, sleeplessness. Despite that I stuck it out for a month and even tried the higher dose of 50mg 2x a day to see if I would get any benefits. But the side effects got worse and were unbearable and my pain levels were through the roof. I had horrendous flare ups along with those side effects. I couldn't handle the medication any longer and have now weaned myself off. I'm now considering going back on Lyrica. I would not recommend this drug. Has anyone else experienced sleep paralysis accompanied by hallucinations since starting viibryd? I have been on the medicine for about 4 months now and for the last 2 1/2 months have had several very scary episodes of sleep paralysis... I have never been on a anti-depressant before and never experienced sleep paralysis until i started this medicine. I am a 23 year old female and i take no other meds except a daily multi-vitamin. Ive noticed that if i accidentally miss a viibryd pill i have sleep paralysis... but have also had it on occasions of not missing a pill. I have a chronic eye disease called Uveitis.. My eye doctor wants to put me on a drug called CellCept.. He says he hopes to use CellCept to keep my eye stable. The problem and fear that I have is that I am a Benzodiazepine and anti-depressant addict, I take them to go to sleep.. 10mg Diazepam and 30mg of Mirtazepine. When they put me on Predisolone they said there wouldn't be any interaction, and there was. I was a total mess on Preds, maybe due to the combination. Couldn't function, couldn't walk, just a mess! I'm 19 & have been struggling with anxiety for about 5 years , anyone know of a doctor in San Diego California that will prescribe Xanax to someone as young as me? ## With someone as young as you who has been suffering since your young teens, it would be best to see a Psychiatrist before starting this or any other medication ? ## But I haven't found a doctor that will give it to me & both my mom & dad use it for their anxiety so I thought it may work for me.. ## Honestly if you are not taking it consider yourself fortunate that you are not dependent on it.
