Amoxicillin Throat Infection

3 nights ago, I suddenly developed chills on my hands and feet; followed by ache and soreness. Seemed like like sore throat, the pain under my left jaw( right side too but not as painful) with tension headache or migraine( I'm a migraine sufferer) took maxalt melt but didn't work. Nausea and acidic stomach. After vomit twice, I took 2 x 500mg Aspro - headache gone after half hour, but nausea and pain under chin and jaw kept me from sleeping. I found some Roxithromycin and took one 150mg tab on the third day. The pain around my neck, and collarbone abated. It's Easter weekend can't see my doctor till next Tue or Wed (another 2-3days). Should I continue taking the Roxithromycin until I see my doc? I also have some amoxicillin but I try not to mix. Thanks

my Dr just gave me a prescription for amoxicillin two 500 milligram pills every 12 hours that equals out to 2000 milligrams of amoxicillin a day for strep throat for 10 days. I started taking Amoxicillin a few days ago to treat strep throat, since then I have been experiencing hellish heartburn any time i try to eat or drink anything! I mean I can take a sip of water and it burns all the way down my throat and into my tummy. I know i cant just stop taking the meds because it is treating my infection, but is there anything i can do to help with the heartburn? ## I didn't find any problems listed between using it with any of the traditional heartburn remedies. I was wondering if it is going to be ok for me to mix oxy with my antibiotics for Strepp throat. It is a 125mg of Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium combined. I'm small, if it makes a difference.
