Hello, my name is Michelle E and my Dr. Has been prescribing them for a while now but I just don't take them cuz I don't want them to affect me in anyway but I just can't sleep at night my mind is always over thinking, always nervous and have alot of anxiety. I worry too much even about little things. Things that don't or shouldn't matter to me. I have been getting injection in my back my servical area and on my feet. Dr. Says is due to severe stress. What should I do. I have 4 kids I have to take care of. Most of the time I don't feel like doing things I used to do cuz of the pain I'm always in. ## What type of Injections are you getting? I have been taking alprazolam under different generic name brands. I have now been given the Dava manufacturing brand and have been getting a swollen tongue, mouth, and throat. I've been taking Xanax brand name for panic attacks and anxiety as needed, not regularly, for the past five years. I've never increased my dose of frequency of taking this med at any point, and am not physically dependent at all. Up until last month ago, the label had always said it was manufactured by "Pharmacia" or "Pharmacia/Upjohn". For years they worked fantastically with no sleepiness or other side effects. I was totally functional. I was shocked when--at some point last month--I took my Xanax to ease panic and did not notice any relief at all in terms of my mental state. If I take .25 mg of xanax infrequently (ie:less than 1 or 2 per week) what is the incindence of arythmia and other side effects? I have had two instances of irregular heartbeat in the last month and was prescribed this drug for possible anxiety issues concerning these episodes. I hve been on 1mg alprazolam for 20 years. They have always been blue. Just got a perscription and was green. It does not have the same effect. I only take at night.with no side effects. ## What are the markings on the tablets? That is what would enable us to identify them and check what they are for you, I can't really tell you anything from just the colors. Oval in shape, with an A imprinted on the back. It's sort of a boxy type A and the pill is scored. ## I have tried the green and blue 1mg Alprazolam. I prefer the green because it is larger and I can break it apart and take half if I like. It also lasts longer. The pharmacist told me today they have a different one and it is purple. I have always taken Xnax or Alphrazolam . They were always the same peach. Change insurance and went to CVS. This pill is yellow oval with 106/S. I never felt I took a pill. I was nerves and stayed awake all night. Never happened with my peach one. I suffer from a sleep disorder, bad nerves and. I can not work without my Xnax.
