Alprazolam 5 Mg

I do not have anxiety or depression but have been prescribed alprazolam for insomnia. I usually cut the o.25 tablet in half each night before bed. Is this the right prescription for me or can I take something that will not be less habit forming. ## I take that med and i take 1 mg three times and day and i have been trying to get off from it because it's very additive ## Michelle, Absolutely, thank you for being so honest. Hi, i am taking this tablet since my accident a year ago. my question is why cant i get normal sleep if i forget to take the pill? what are the side effects? plz reply. ## What your taking is a .05 mg of xanax.After 2 or3 months of taking them you create a tolerance for them,(VERY ADDITIVE)a xanax,instead of getting into your blood stream,gets into your tissue,joints mussels,ect.I've been on them 10 yrs. 2mg.3 times a day.The longer you take them the more you'll need,and to come off of them is worse than H. It's the hardest thing I've ever withdrawn from,and I've done it ALL.You have to be weened off,to dangerous to just stop.I hope I helped and not scare u.

i did not realize there was a 3 mg. xanax, does anyone have a pic? ## Sorry, providing a pic would be almost impossible since this is available in generic form. It is made by many, many manufacturers now and all of their pills will look however they want them too and have different imprints, so we could not possibly put a picture on here of any of them. There is a 3mg though only available in the controlled release.

Are there ANY pharmaceutical companies that make Alprazolam that look exactly like the real thing-scored on both sides,but no #'s or letters? ## These are almost oval in shape and have no markings but where you can split the pill in 2, they are green and honestly i ate one and felt nothing. they had the taste but no effect. I was told they came from a blister pack and it said they were 2mgs , are there such pills out there ## It is possible, but if it has no markings, then it is NOT from a legal US approved manufacturer and there is no way to tell if it contains Alprazolam, or if it does, if it contains the correct amount. A Mexican pharmacy gave me blue oblong pills with IFA on one side and a score mark on the other side to refill my prescription. The guy took them out of a blister pack and put them in my bottle. I don't know how to tell if he gave me the right dose. These are blue, not purple. ## Unfortunately, I am unable to help you with this. IFA Mexico makes many medications and they use the IFA marking on all of them. Is there anyway you could double check with another Mexican pharmacy? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. ## Today I went back and asked the pharmacist who sold it to me.
