Aleve And Trazodone

I'm taking clonezapam (1 and a half) and 2 1/2 trazadone for sleep. Because I suffer from bursitis, I also take an Aleve. Will this harm my body? Thanks for your help ## Hello, Eileen! How are you? You shouldn't take the Trazodone with the Aleve, they increase the toxicity of each other, which could be dangerous. From what I can find, the only over the counter pain reliever you could take with it is Acetaminophen/Tylenol, so you may want to ask your doctor about taking it. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have fibromyalgia, endo, pelvic floor dysfunction, cysts forming around my spine, 36 fibroids removed, a hystorectomy but still have my ovaries. The fibro is in my lungs and also the endo. I've been on the highest dosage of gabapentin, 6 antidepressants, Xanax, trazodone, percocet, soma, meltaxlone, lidocaine shots and patches and dialudid 4 2x a day. I am 36, no children, have had a laparoscopic surgery, laparotomy, mayomectomy and hysterectomy. First 3 in 10 months. At a dr put me on Lupron and the menopause was horrible. I've tried prescription, opiates, narcotics, homeopathic, pelvic pain pilates n yoga. NOTHING RELIEVES MY PAIN AND I DO NOT LIKE THE MENTAL EFFECTS. I tested positive for marijuana. I haven't taken any in 2 months but I do take trazodone. ## Is trazodone the problem? ## How could I test positive at the dr office for marijuana if i never used it in my life or been near anyone who did? No poppy seed bagels, no antibiotics. I am just prescribed steroids and Lupus meds, and monthly infusion for my Lupus. I was so very embarrassed when they told me my urine test results! I asked to be retested as was told no, which seemed strange. I went to my family dr the next day who agreed to send me to the lab for a urine test, as i told her i never did drugs/marijuana in my life except what was prescribed: Roxicodone, steroids, Lupus meds, heart arrhythmia med, and Aleve for inflammation from Lupus. I take clonidine (.1 mg 3x daily), flexeril (10 mg 3x daily), Geodon (80mgs at night), Trazodone (200mg at night), BENEDRYL (100MG 4x Daily), Aleve (2 pills 2x daily) or Ibuprofen (800mg). I live in a sober living house and this is all I am taking and tested positive for these and I have not taken anything but what I listed. I can't lose my home. ## I too tested positive for benzos and I don't take benzos! ONLY prescription methadone, ibuprofen, benadryl gabapentin & clonidine..
