Adderall Step Down

I HAVE ONLY BEEN TAKEN ADDERALL TAB 10 MG 1 TAB 1 X DAY FOR A MONTH. CAN NOT REACH MY DOCTOR, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE STEP DOWN PROCEDURE TO STOP TAKING THE ADDERALL. ## Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. I don't know however if Adderall would fall into this category of medications that can be taken in fractioned doses. For this, I'd actually recommend asking your local pharmacy or primary care physician; because the severity of withdrawing from any drug is largely dependent on the individual's heal...

When I first tried the Corepharma generic Adderall IR back in 2007, I felt it was very, very weak. Now..however...Feb 2013...the Corepharma seems (at least to me) to be better than it once was. Two specific items I have noticed seem better: 1. Potency 2. The come-down is more even Perhaps over the last 5+ years of getting complaints (I actually formally complained back in 2007), the company has actually taken proactive steps to improve their product. This, of course, is simply my opinion. ## It's possible, but it's also possible that it's just due to your body being more used to the medication now and adjusting to it easier. It's always hard to say in such cases, because it's not like the manufacturer wants to publicly admit if there were problems before that they...

Hi, my name is Stephen and I have been on 3 different meds for 12 years. I take 30mgs of Adderall 3 times daily and one 2mg dose of Xanax 3 times daily, but just moved to PA in the Scranton Wilkes-Barre area and cannot find a doctor to prescribe me the Xanax 2mg dose three times a day. They have cut me down to 1mg 2 times a day and I don't know how to relax, I'm shaking, feeling very anxious with anxiety and also have pain due to bad nerve damage in my shoulders. Does anyone know of a doctor that actually does care or maybe a psychiatrist in the area? ## It could be the Adderral speeding you out. You can't count on taking the same amount of medicine forever, Xanax is getting harder to obtain. Plus you are taking too much !

I was told that I could no longer be prescribed Adderall when I became age 50. That was 8 years ago. I quit functioning and now I rarely leave my room. HELP! ## Dear Stephanie, Sorry to hear about your situation. I believe you've come to the right site for support and know that compassionate/understanding doctors do exist even if they may seem few & far between. Please don't give up hope in your search, if this is truly the path you wish to take. No one is too old to receive proper care. Just because we cross a certain age line, doesn't mean our problems magically go away. If anything, that doctor should be fired for misleading you down that path only to have the rug unexpectedly pulled from under your feet. If you need help locating another physician, you can typically ...
