Is there an interaction between the two medications ## Prexum Plus contains Perindopril and Indapamide, both of which are commonly prescribed to treat CHF, though it may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, dizziness and dehydration. Nuzak contains the active ingredient Fluoxetine, which is an SSRI antidepressant. Is her doctor aware that she is taking the antidepressant with the other medication? Combining the Fluoxetine with the Indapamide can increase the risk of hyponatremia, which is very low serum sodium.

While there are certainly a good number of other prescription alternatives to Prexum, there are even more natural alternatives that in my opinion can be just as or more effective than prescription medication if taken seriously. My husband had a Mitral valve replacement and bypass pluss he has heartfailure. He is taking Lasix 40mg,Plenish k,Carloc 12,5mg,Prexum 4mg,Warfarin 5mg,Spiractin 25mg,Lexamil 10mg.
