Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (now Actavis, Inc); located at: Morris Corporate Center III 400 Interpace Parkway Parsippany, NJ 07054 Contact Details: Phone: +1 862 261-7000 Website: actavis.com ## Hi Alice, I appreciate you sharing the contact info for Actavis, as I imagine that they are probably getting swamped with complaints from manufacturing inferior products such as Norco. Hopefully enough to trigger a change back to the old formula. I also want to mention though, that the phone number for U.S. Customer Relations is different than the one you posted to their "Administrative Headquarters". The number listed on their webpage for Customer Relations is +1 (800) 272-5525. However there's no mention of what office hours they hold on any given day, so if you are able to get th...

Both my mom and I are chronic pain suffers. I have had 3 back surgeries and she has had 1 and has osteoarthritis. Actavis percocet are really bad. No good for pain even at 10/325. She was taking Lortab 10/500 and since the switch she has had hives, nausea, ringing in the ears. We believe it is the pain pills causing the problem. Anyone else having these type problems? ## Hello Reba! How are you both doing? I am very sorry about the problems that you're having. Rather than taking Percocet, the doctor could still prescribe something with Hydrocodone in it, if that's what works better, it is still available, just with the lower amounts of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, d...

My pharmacist that I have known for years due to chronic pain from cancer/severe spinal injuries and a totaled knee, told me last week that it is the DEA that has created the change in ALL pain meds. I have been on Watson Norco for 10 years and now I am in severe withdrawal with actavis buying out Watson. It is unbearable and my pharmacist said that people will DIE because of not being forewarned or informed ahead of time. This is all due to the people that use the drugs recreationally; and whatever else they do has ruined it for us real patients. We all know the DEA is like God and they don't even care about us real patients that have medical records, etc. I have been suffering for over a month now and my pain doc is on an extended vacation. Thank goodness for my pharmacist at leas...

I had been on Watson 10/325 for a few months for chronic shoulder neck pain. Yesterday I got a new prescription and CVS filled it with an A333 long pill (Actavis). Now I find ~ after questioning the pharmacist and scouring the Internet ~ that Watson is no longer available and {I also find} that the pills I received are probably Actavis' newly released abuse-deterrent pill. This was dispensed as a regular generic version of my Percocet prescription....of which nobody mentioned the switch. After taking one I became very ill, dizzy, sweats and had difficulty breathing for the better part of the day ~ none of which ever occurred with the Watson pills. Can you confirm that Watson will no longer be manufacturing the 10/325 Oxy and that these are actually the alleged "test" run of ...

The new white Norco by Actavis does not work as well as the Yellow Norco by Watson did. With these white ones I also experience the same bad side effect as other generic Norco which is severe migraine headaches. At times I forego taking the pain meds out of fear for the migraine I know that will follow. Actavis obviously changed the formula. Does anyone have an idea what inactive ingredient could cause the migraines? ## Hello, Heidi! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. It's difficult to say, since everyone is different, so trying to figure out what's causing you the problem would be guess work. It might be due to the medication, itself. Headaches are a possible side effect of narcotics, in some people that take them. It is listed in the databases...

Most pharmacies sell watson or actavis lorazepam in my area (LA), but I had serious side effects with no calming effect from watson so I returned to Rite Aid after taking one tablet. I heard that watson was taken over by actavis and they are manufactured at the same factory and same medicine. I used to take qualitest and that worked great but was discontinued. I also tried Mylan which was ok but they are discontinuing as they said they don't have inventory and don't know when the last batch is released. Leading pharma does not work for me, causing serious side effects. I visited or called about 30 pharmacies in my area but they only deal with leading pharma, watson and actavis. So I have no option but to try actavis, but if it's the same as watson, I think I can't take i...

Generic for Wellbutrin 150 mg SR ## Sorry, I cannot find this listed anywhere. ## What country did you get this medicine from? Does not appear to be a U.S. brand name. ## Bupropion HCL SR manufactured by WATSO is the generic for Wellbutrin SR. Bupropion HCL ER by EONLB is another substitute. A new drug was approved a few weeks ago but I believe it is in direct competition with Wellbutrin. Regards. ## Actavissou: sold by Walmarts as a generic for Wellbutrin SR Bupropoin 150MG. Help? Can Not find where it is made..it is not WATSON asc earlier posted stated. ## I recently got Bupropion SR 2/150 mg in the morning at Walmart, Actavissou maker. I was on 300 mg in the morning, maker Watson. The Watson worked great, now on this Actavissou brand I'm a basket case. I'm worse than before I...

Over six yrs my b/c was Watson brand Microgestin now the new pills I picked up Actavis Microgestin is making me have side effects...breakthrough bleeding and cramps. If the company name changed, I'm assuming the medication as well! If my body is already immune to this medication why the side effects... ## I am having the same problem. Im experiencing side effects (headaches, mood swings) on the actavis microgestin fe 1/20. I am getting off of it. ## Hello, Kym and Sandy! How are both of you ladies doing? I'm very sorry about the problems that you're having. There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to another, so the new one is most likely a little higher or lower, which could account for these new side effects. I used to experi...

Is sandoz lorazepam the same as watson or actavis? I mean, the same brand? I heard that they are same company or same manufacturer. I took watson but due to serious side effect (panic attack, heart pounding, dehydration, choking, asthma, internal tremor, insomnia) with no calming effect, I was very ill so could not take it. Rite aid accepted return, but CVS did not accept return when I got serious side effect from leading pharma lorazepam at once so could not take it. CVS said in California, once patients receive any medicine they can not return it as it is against the law. Then why rite aid accepted return? CVS also told me that no transfer is allowed. But for controlled substance, one transfer is allowed as I experienced a lot of times before. Once patient bought it unless they return...

I found an white oblong pill with watson 778 on it. Looked it up and can't find anything on it ## Hi Mysta, Did you get these from a real licensed pharmacy or did you order them from overseas? I also wonder if you could've accidentally misinterpreted the imprint on the pill? Reason I ask is because there are no specific details confirming that these particular tablets even exist (at least through my own research on the internet). You may want to try contacting the manufacturer (Actavis - formerly known as Watson) directly and see if they can determine whether it's something that was previously discontinued. Here is the phone number for the US Customer Relations department: +1 (800) 272-5525 I hope this helps!

To all ppl that has side effects of anxiety Xanax with your meds control that. Now the true brand of Watson Norcos are sold for 495 Prices went up and if your insurance don't pay for it they will give u generics or the pharmacy you go like CVS always gives generics ## Hello, Deb! How are you? Benzodiazepines, such as Xanax, can be habit forming, so they may not be an appropriate choice for everyone. And the price on Norco, which is a narcotic analgesic, may also vary from one area to the next, plus your pharmacy is required to provide a generic first if you are insured, that is not an option that is left up to you. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## I trying find good pharmacy I don't like CVS and Walgreen

Help!!!! I've loved the Watson brand of Lorazepam. I just take a small amount and it eases my anxiety. HOWEVER, Actavis bought Watson and (trust me) the product is no longer effective. OMG. So frustrating. Does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes a Lorazepam comparable to Watson's? ## My lorazepam have Watson 541 stamped on them. ## I am curious as well, it seems like generic medications no longer hold standards. I have had a hard time finding a good generic Adderall IR. I’ve called every local pharmacy and even requested to order “what most people’s advice will be” and I can’t find one to do that for me. But if I could help any whatsoever I’d google independent pharmacy’s locally and call and simply tell them your new generic isn...

I just started immediate release amphetamine salts (Actavis, half-moon, #26) on tablet. 20 mg (3X daily). Reaction (allergy) unsure? Gastric bypass patients NEED IR. Is Zenzedi immediate release? And, what is the equivalent dosage to equal 60 mg amphetamine salts? My reaction left foot red, pain, stiff, swollen twice its size (for week and half). Since August when still being prescribed Vyvanse XR med lasted only four hours, and ought not to be taking because of Rouen GB procedure-- was I thought causing gout-like symptoms, but I also gained 60 pounds due to other sleep/anxiety meds-- gout made sense but occurred in both ankles and feet. Internist checked uric acid (gout) high but within reasonable range; wants me to see Rheumatologist: still occasional flares but I stopped amphetamine ...

I just refilled a prescription for 2mg Lorazepam but this time I got a much larger pill manufactured by Qualitest. The previous med I was taking was manufactured by Actavis/Watson…. Has anyone noticed a difference in symptoms? ## Hello, Angela! How are you? Have you tried taking it, yet? They are just manufactured by different companies, but the medication itself is the same. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. I've taken the one by Qualitest before and it worked well for me, but that was several years ago. ## I have been taking Ativan/lorazipan for a long time, it seem every time I find a brand I like they stop making it, right now I am taking qualitest 1mg, and it wo...

The white new norcos do not work, and I am back spending half my life in bed. Why is is they break in half so easily? The yellow ones couldnt be broken by hand. Who can we call? The DEA? ## Hi allie, It seems like a lot of patients have been experiencing problems with the Norco made by Actavis (formerly known as Watson). Apparently from what I understand, after Watson was bought out, Actavis made some "unnecessary" changes within the inactive ingredients, causing them to not be nearly as effective as their yellow predecessor. If you want to put in a complaint, I would suggest filing a report with the FDA under their MedWatch program, which can be reached at: fda.gov/Safety/MedWatch/default.htm Maybe if enough people report similar problems they will consider making changes. But ...

I had been taking 5/325 generic Watson percocet for 4 years. Suddenly I get notified by Walgreens which I have insurance that there is no more Watson brand and I was given generic percocet 5/325 by Actavis. It is not the same at all. It has no pain relief for me. I used to break the watsons in half sometimes and never had a funny taste. I just broke one of the actavis white tablets in half and it immediately tasted like salt or alka seltzer? Has anyone had any issues with this drug too. Also, along with it not working right it has made my GI tract and stomach so ill feeling and cramping. This is not right how can they take away a medicine that someone has been on for 4 years without any problems and tell them to suddenly switch.
