Hello I was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy 2 years ago and I'm prescribed these a333. Idk what you people are talking about because they certainly help with my muscles deterioration. I honestly think alot of people saying that they don't help are upset about then nit getting them high enough ## Hello, Dylan! How are you? I'm very glad that this medication is helping you. Not every medication works for everyone that tries it, so while this one may help you, it may not alleviate pain for everyone, so it doesn't necessarily mean that they are just looking to get high. Another issue is the fact that the amount of the active ingredients can vary from one generic to another. Thus, if someone was taking one, for awhile, that was a little higher than this one, then suddenly s...

10/325 generic percocet which is the best manufacturer for chronic pain ## Hi Em, Unfortunately because every brand/generic effects each person differently, the only honest way to go about finding out what works best, is to try out different manufacturers for yourself. That way you can also formulate your own valid opinion. What I can tell you though from reading a lot of posts on this site, is that Actavis (Formerly known as Watson) has been receiving a massive amount of complaints lately regarding the quality and efficacy of their generic Percocet tablets. So that's probably one company you'd want to steer clear from based on their recent track record. I hope this helps! ## I am a 53 year old grandmother, full-time student earning my bachelors in psychology counseling, then on...

I have been taking Oxycontin and for BTP Watson 10/325 generic Percocet for a number of years; they have always given me some pain relief. The Actavis Percocet 10/325 do not give me any pain relief. Life is hard enough with the stigma I get from pharmacists’, some friends, people in the pharmacies. All the time I wish my pain would go away because it’s very hard to take these pain pills, adding the stigma wow!! I have no other option. Surgeons will not operate they say the odds of making my whole back worse is to high, therapy done it many times doesn’t work. It’s been over 10 years I’ve suffered with what feels like half of a back and life. I can’t do much at all. A number of years ago I tried racing my little daughter my left leg is so weak on my th...

What country manufactures Acatavis's generic product oxycodone 10mg/acetaminophen 325mg tablets ## Hello, Melvin! How are you? I'm afraid that I don't have this information, however, what I can tell you is that regardless of where any given medication is manufactured, all of them must meet the same safety, quality and efficacy standards to be approved by the FDA and available on the U.S. market. This medication is classified as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Actavis is located in Elizabeth NJ. I ride pass there every week when i visit my daughter.

My husband takes the generic form of Percocet for severe chronic breakthru pain. I am looking for assistance in paying for his medications. He is on medicare w/ a supplement incl part d however he is now in the medication gap making this a very expensive rx. Anyone know of any assistance resources? ## @grannychoas, This site actually offers a drug discount card that can reportedly save you anywhere from 15% to 75% off your Rx, potentially cutting the cost by more than half. You can view more details about it on the following page: RX Savings Card Just print out that card for your husband and have him bring it whenever he goes to fill a prescription. At that point the pharmacy should be able to determine how much of a discount he'll receive. I'd be curious to know if the percenta...

I had been taking 5/325 generic Watson percocet for 4 years. Suddenly I get notified by Walgreens which I have insurance that there is no more Watson brand and I was given generic percocet 5/325 by Actavis. It is not the same at all. It has no pain relief for me. I used to break the watsons in half sometimes and never had a funny taste. I just broke one of the actavis white tablets in half and it immediately tasted like salt or alka seltzer? Has anyone had any issues with this drug too. Also, along with it not working right it has made my GI tract and stomach so ill feeling and cramping. This is not right how can they take away a medicine that someone has been on for 4 years without any problems and tell them to suddenly switch. Would a peson who has been on a certain heart medication f...

Actavis percocet is doing nothing for my pain im bout to die from horrible pain help ## Hello, Misty! How are you? Many people have complained about these tablets. The best suggestion I can make is to speak to your doctor, they may be able to prescribe an alternative medication that you can use for awhile. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. How long have you been taking it? ## The Actavis percocet is the worst generic out there now. You should read other blogs about this terrible generic it is totally no good and needs to be re-called. You are not alone as there are many of us in pain now from not being able to get our usual percocet by Watson. You must c...

I have ulcer disease and can't take any nsaids, especially aspirin. I've been taking generic Percocet 5/325 for about a year now for broken ribs and other things. I just got a refill and they changed the manufacturer to Camber T192 white round tablet.. when I opened the bottle the first thing I noticed was the smell of aspirin and the chalk all around the bottle. In the past they have always filled it with Actavis white round coated pill #A349. These had no smell at all. I called the pharmacy to ask about this as their printout also said the Camber pill is blue and it is white. The girl assured me I had the correct pill, it was obviously generic and the manufacturer had been changed. She said it was not aspirin. I do know what it smells like. I am just concerned because if I tak...

The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Just got Camber Pharm generic Percocet at Walgreens instead of the Actavis brand. It's giving me an upset stomach and causing me to feel weird. Has anyone else had a similar reaction? ## What is the dosage? Can you please post back and clarify? Is it the yellow tablet with T 194 imprinted on it? (NDC 31722-194, 10/325 dosage) Or is it another variation of the dosage from Camber? Percocet is a narcotic analgesic. The FDA warns that it's risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth. Yes there is a big difference in the manufacturers of these pills. The white, round, WATSON 925s seem to work best as far as pain relief and "highness". The ovals are ok but not as good as watson...The peach or yellow pills are also less effective than the watsons. ## I just came across an article from this website,"Generics and Biosimilars" titled, "Actavis makes agreement for generic abuse-deterrent oxycodone", Posted 03/05/2013, that explains exactly why everyone is getting sick and feeling no pain relief. Please please please... complain to the FDA, to the company Actavis, which u can get on the internet and call Walgreens @800-walgreens...but tell walgreens not to send the info to ur local pharmacy.. cause they will...tell them u want ur complaint to go to t...

Just wondering what these pills look like and is this the same as by Mallencourt? Nancy ## Hello, Nancy! How are you? Are you referring to the generic for Percocet that contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Oxycodone? If so, the ones manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth are round, white and have the marking A349 on one side. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. And yes, it's the same medication, just manufactured by a different company.

Horrible experience with RP 10/325 generic for Percocet 10/325 prescribed by my Pain Mgt Dr. I got the prescription filled at Walmart a month ago. Since that time, I have been in withdrawals, with aching muscles, mostly in my shoulders and wrists, the pain I felt before going on any pain pills over 25 years ago, also the chills and sweating, just as if I were in complete withdrawal. I took the bottle to the pharmacy and told the pharmacist what was happening and he told me he has had no other complaints and couldn't do anything for me...okay, so my husband is now picking up my new monthly prescription at Walgreens, and the manufacturer is Actavis, which I believe is the old Watson and I am praying they will take away the withdrawal feelings. Has anyone else had this issue with the R...

Just received alvogen Percocet for the first time yesterday and was very skeptical being that I have gotten the actavis before and had such a bad reaction with no relief at all. After reading reviews I just knew that it wasn't going to work. This medication has exceeded all doubt. Took care of my pain very quickly with minimal stomach upset. I have had quite a few generic brands before from mallinkrodt, Roxane, endocet, qualities, and actavis. Mallinkrodt and Roxane being the best in my opinion. I am thankful. I sure did not wanna have to go through fighting the doc or insurance company trying to get them to understand as I just had surgery and dealing with enough. I really do believe it has to do with your chemical makeup and how your body responds to the med. Except for actavis......

I am looking for Watson 10/325 Percocet and they no longer make them. What about Mylan brand? Has anyone had those- also Amneal is another generic. Help!!! ## My wife takes the 10/325 and has preferred the Watson also. Mylan worked well for her but we can't find anyone near us that carries Mylan. Who are you getting them from? ## I haven't had any personal experience with this med, but after seeing all the complaints against Actavis I think any other brand would be worth looking into. Endo Pharmaceuticals also makes Percocet. I'd just be mindful of the inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that they put into those tablets, because you never know if something in there could be effecting its potency/bioavailability from the point of absorption. From what I've read, Endo u...

Hi there, Who among us was getting generic percocet by actavis mfr up until walgreens switched to Camber mfr. (RECENTLY) Well...here,s my question....We were getting generic actavis and for many of us, it helped us. I think all of us have heard that a "BRAND NAME" Holds it's patton for 20 years? Then, it goes generic..RIGHT? Well, I have been told by numerous places that the "GENERIC ACTAVIS PERC" went to a "BRAND NAME" How in the world does that happen??? How can a generic suddenly go to a brand name that insurance will not cover? Think about that.... ## The patent is held for 18 years, but there can be some exceptions that allow for additional time, or for a generic to come to market sooner. And no, a generic does not become a name brand, a generic stays a ...

Which rx gives better & longer pain relief? ## Hello, Plumber! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth and they list it as containing 7.5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. My father got these prescribed after a massive head trauma and reconstruction of his skull and orbital area. I told him they were Percocets but he is arguing with me. I know I am right but need verification for him, lol. Usually Percocets always made him sick and that way if it does we will know it is that and not something else wrong with his skull. ## You are correct, these tablets are manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth and they list them as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so it is a generic for Percocet. I had been on Watson 10/325 for a few months for chronic shoulder neck pain. Yesterday I got a new prescription and CVS filled it with an A333 long pill (Actavis). Now I find ~ after questioning the pharmacist and scouring the Internet ~ that Watson is no longer available and {I also find} that the pills I received are probably Actavis' newly released abuse-deterrent pill. This was dispensed as a regular generic version of my Percocet prescription....of which nobody mentioned the switch. After taking one I became very ill, dizzy, sweats and had difficulty breathing for the better part of the day ~ none of which ever occurred with the Watson pills. Can you confirm that Watson will no longer be manufacturing the 10/325 Oxy and that these are actually the alleged "test" run of ...
