Could it induce nausea and other gastric upsets? ## Synap Forte contains Paracetamol, Propoxyphene, Diphenhydramine and Caffeine, it is used to relieve pain. Yes, with both the Acetaminophen in it and the Propoxyphene, which is a mild narcotic, it can cause nausea and stomach irritation, as well as possibly ulcerations. What is the genenic drug for synap forte? ## It is actually a combination drug with four active ingredients: Acetaminophen/Paracetamol Propoxyphene (mild narcotic) Diphenhydramine and Caffeine. It seems it would be used to treat pain, including headaches, with the Diphenhydramine included to help prevent nausea, but this is only a guess based on the ingredients. Does anyone else have more information on this? ## my mother is stays with me after she had a stroke. she's complaining of pain in her upper arms every day and sometimes can't lift her arms. it seems no pain killers is helping and would like to know if synap forte will help.

I can't find any information on this medication, so I cannot provide you with any dosage or usage information. However, I can tell you that you should never take any medication with alcohol. Medications are generally very hard on your stomach and your liver, so taking them with alcohol will just make things worse. Is this a vitamin or a medication for pain?? ## The trade of this product is actually "Nuran BC Forte". It contains the following active ingredients: Cyproheptadine Hydrochloride Vitamin B Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) Cyproheptadine relieves red, irritated, itchy, watery eyes; sneezing; and runny nose caused by allergies, irritants in the air, and hay fever. That said, I'm not exactly sure as to why these specific vitamins are being combined with an allergy medication, but none-the-less it appears to work synergistically.
