My mother in law is very ill. I am a stay at home mom so I am her caregiver during the day. My brother in law picked up her meds from the pharmacy yesterday and when I went to give her the 2 mg xanax bar I noticed it was different than usual. I tried looking it up but haven't been able to find anything. It is a white bar with three lines on one side there is a "Y" and the other side there is a "12". They are white. Has anyone seen these before? Are they new? I'm hesitant on giving it to her before I know for sure that it is definitely xanax. My friend showed me some pills she got that are supposed to be 2 mg Xanax. They are white rectangle with the imprint G3722 on I side and no scores/lines on the other side. She takes Xanax on a daily basis, and normally takes 1-2 daily but with these she has taken 5 and does not feel any effect. We tried looking them up but COULD NOT FIND EM ANYWHERE!!! I have been on the green 2 mg Xanax, now have gotten the white 2 mg - the green worked perfect form me, but the white does not help my anxiety nor my nerves and panic attacks, has anyone else had this problem? I took these 2mg Alprazolam bars, like a lot of you said- the generic for Xanax. I have taken generics for tons of meds over the yrs & I've never had this happen. But, I swear I had other people at the pharmacy say the white 2mg Alprazolams do NOT work well. I was on half the dose b 4, getting the 1mg "footballs" (people call em that) and I swear 1 of the 1mg Alprazolams worked WAY better for me. I've also hears if you get the 2mg bars, ask them for the green or yellow. They've worked much better than the white bars. Good luck. I have a xanax bar/white that says p309 printed on it.i tryed looking it up but cant find it.is the pill real? ## I didn't have any luck finding this pill either. Determining if the pill is real would depend on a host of factors, like where you obtained it from or if the pill possibly is real and it's not showing up because it has been discontinued by the manufacturer, etc. I tried searching different variations of the imprint, such as; PA 309, R 309, E 309, and a few others that don't bring up a match. You may have more success if you take the pill to your local pharmacy to see if any of the workers recognize the imprint. Hope this helps.

If you are looking at a name brand xanax 2 milligram, if you turn it over to the right what way would the number 2 be facing? ## Depends which way you are facing? ## @Justin, Eddy is right, it probably would depend on which way you are facing as well. Lol.. When I look at an image of a legitimate 2mg white xanax bar, the word "[x|an|a|x]" is printed horizontally, but the number 2 is always represented as being vertical (going long ways) on the opposite side. It appears to be facing left just as a normal "2" would.
