When Should I Redose Suboxone After Precipitated Withdrawel

Ive been on methadone for 3 1/2 yr and titrated down from 100mg to 55mg skipping days bt and waiting 3days since last dosed methadone and was prescribed 8mg strip, came home ,dosed and instantly went into precip wd.that was thursday,i took a fourth of a strip friday, now saturday and im scared to death.how much and when should I take suboxone again?

someone please give some answers back.I feel like total s*** still and its been 6 days since any methadone.Im so confused about how to successfully get on sub w-out getting sick again.precip w/d is not something I EVERwant to go thru again,straight 6 hrs of wanting to blow ur freakin head off bc ur body hurts so bad....plez reply thanks to all!!!!!!

You need to get professional help with this. The proper usage and dosing of Suboxone is actually not information that's made public. It's rather complicated, because proper dosing and when to start it depends on how long you were abusing the med of choice, how much of it you were taking and etc.

Have you consulted a doctor?

This is a SIMPLE answer.

If you don't take anything your withdrawal will last 7 days approximately and then will be over.

If you want to get on Suboxone take it once every 6 hours at 4 to 8mg until you feel better. I went into PW after months of 240MG methadone habit and it can get better within 24 to 36 hours if you follow what I said above.

I know it sucks, I know it tastes and smells like death but it WILL get better if you keep taking them. Every 4 to 6 hours after you screwed up take 4 to 8 MG and you will start to notice a difference after 12 to 16 hours I guarantee it. You can take a benzo LIGHTLY to make yourself be able to deal with it until it gets better.

But taking more methadone or more opiates will make it worse. YOU MUST KEEP TAKING SUBS as I said above.

wanted to say I just came out of precipitated withdrawal! What holy hell! I have been on methadone for 6 years 115 mlg daily got myself down to 50 mlg took 50 mlg.for 2 weeks waited more than 72 hours without any then took 2mlg sub was fine not better just not worse following my doc orders took another 2mlg 90 mins later ok then took another 2mlg after 90 min and o my god. Almost instantly threw me into precipitated withdrawal! This was to say the least horrible ×1000. Don't want this to happen again but determined to switch to subs. When can I try again without goin threw hell! Please help!
