Streptoquin contains 200mgs of Hydroxyquinoline, 2.5mgs of Novatropine, 200mgs of Sulphathiazole and 100mgs of Stremptomycin.
This is an anti-infective/antibiotic, so it will only work if your problem is caused by an infection, not a virus or other illness.
Have you seen a doctor? It is not wise to use an antibiotic unless it is necessary, due to the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria.

I am sorry, I cannot find any information on anything under the name Diax, do you happen to know what is in it?
STREPTOQUIN FOR DIARRHEA
Drotazide for tummy bug
chorphenamine alergic reaction to mossi bites
buscopan for cramps
Diax is (Nifuroxazide) is a synthetic derivative of Nitrofurans group.
broad spectrum intestinal anti-infectious agent with strictly local action suitable for treatment of diarrhea.
Found at egyption maket
Manufactured by Hikma PLC
search Nifuroxazide...My son was given this when he had diarrhoea first week he reached Egypt..
Bit late for a useful response but I took these (Antinal or Diax) and Streptoquin after trying Imodium which doesn't work!!. Both work in tandem on the malady known as 'Egyptian Tummy'. Antinal (Nifuroxazide - 200mg) acts as an anti irritant (or antiseptic) to the stomach & bowel linings, to ease the cramps etc whilst Streptoquin acts as an antibiotic (it is now used on animals in the UK as it's considered 'old fashioned' ) but is perfectly adequate for the job. As with all antibs you must take the full course of tablets - usually 12 (3 times a day for 4 days)
I've just been given Diaz myself in Egypt, been told this is a painkiller for the parasite I've picked up. Worked really effectively....
