Std Question Coincidence
UpdatedHi... A few years ago i went to a sex worker in a private house. We had a protected sexual intercourse (i.e with a condom) So far so good.
Two and half months later I donate blood and get a letter from the blood donation bank that perform hiv tests and the results were: anti-hiv - positive, western blot - negative, nat - negative.
So they wrote in the letter that it is false positive. Two months later i was so worried about it so i decided to go to a doctor and perform blood and urine tests for std in myself just to calm me down. In those tests all of the results were ok - negative including hiv serology.
That issue still bothers me till today because i don't know if might it be such a huge coincidence and there is nothing to be afraid of or there is a chance of infection and worse case can actually be real and my life is ruined forever...???
