Ramipril And Amlodipine 10 Mg Each
UpdatedUK, NW England, I had high blood pressure and was started on Ramipril, went up to 10mg but still had high BP so amlodipine was introduced and I eventually, after being put on 10mg a day my blood Pressure was stabilized.
The side effects I noticed are, first I found erections were not as easy as before any medication and second I seem to be getting indigestion quite a lot. On Occasion I get light headed.
I would obviously prefer to NOT take any medication at all but have been advised that is not a good idea. I didn't really notice any of these side effects on ramipril, only after Amlodipine was added. up to 10 mg. I am still trying to get off these tablets or even change but my GP says he is reluctant as my blood pressure is stable now.
If anyone knows of any drug that can replace these and NOT have the first horrible side effect, I'd be very grateful.
