i am on 76mls of methadone have been clean from heroin addiction for 8 months. things were great, me and my partner of 12 years were on a high because we were clean but for the past few weeks iv became majorly depressed and he my partner started getting 'itchy' he came home yesterday with heroin ....major regrets and i now feel so low and disgusted with us both its even worse because we are at the drug screening clinic today!! why i wasnt strong enough yesterday to say no is beyond me uuugh anyway my question is this if i got someone who is completely drug free to give me a urine sample and added a tiny droplet of methadone to it would i pass a drug screening test? i want to come clean we have been addicts for 10 years we have finally a brilliant drug worker who has helped us ALOT and put her neck on the line for us as well, the staff really liked us, they sent my partner away to detox 7 months ago and it cost them £3000 he was extremely lucky as that is hardly ever done in the town we live in and from the facility we are at i dnt even want to look them in the eyes. we feel so bad and dnt want to let anyone down. someone told us they have been putting methadone in clean urine for 2 yrs and getting away with it im not so sure about this? and am very anxious. my partner has more to lose he has manic depression and is on vallium we have been given weekly pick up in full for our methadone and he gets his vallium monthly hes worried theyl take our privaliges away frm us so has asked me to do it just this once and he will never put me in the position again. if this isnt going to work i dnt even want to try it id rather just come clean and be honest and get the help we need but im not getting through to him and i dnt wnat to make him look bad if he lies and i tell the truth. thanks.

i dont know if they even tried the methadone in the urine...but if they did....they r in even more trouble....the methadone is metabolized through the liver and those metabolites will be absent from the urine. This will surely make the clinic aware what she did...and also cast a shadow for quite awhile upon her trustworthiness....absolutely come clean...as hard as that may seem to do...it will be best in the long run.

I've never personally done it myself but have known alot of people on the methadone that have. they get a small medicine bottle with tinfoil over the top. put a hole in the lid big enough to put a finger or something to peice the tin foil and then warm it like a baby bottle let it cool slightly and put it up "inside". then when youre at the clinic you just have to perice the tinfoil with something your nail a needle hair pin pen anything really! And as for that "mary" person everybodys human and everybody makes mistakes once in awhile if I were you I'd keep my unkind and unhelpful comments to myself as nobody wants to hear them!!

so i too have been clean almost 2 years but messed up and did crystal meth so can i take clean urine and add methadone juice to the urine and passw my drug test at the methadone clinic. Please my children are on the line and i know i f***ed up but wont ever again i just need to know if it will work for real or not please help me

I can tell u recently i had an empty bottle of oxycodone an when i was tested poured the clean urine into the empty bottle of the oxy an much to my surprise it worked! People on the board run about 50/50 on this subject. Thursday i need urine with methadone an oxycodone to satisfy my pain doc in Brandon Fl. I have no choice but to pass. Good luck to all!!!!!!

I was left with a tool and a little crystal by someone. I didn't know until Saturday via mail that I needed to have called the Probation Office Pre-trial Services upon given ROR before my next court date. I still see nowhere on any of the documentation I was given where it said I was required to report to a Probation place before this 2nd court date.
Anyway, I responded to the letter and have an appointment Thursday, April 4th, 2013 at 9am. I smoked yesterday, Sunday (about 4 hits, by myself).
I appreciate the suggestions.
I desperatly want to pass the U.A. that I'm guessing will give. I'm so close to the edge not just for the decisions I've made despite knowing the A.A. definition of "insanity". I need to get my cat placed in a caring home, get stuff in order for my kids, move out, etc. After that let me rot in jail.
I was told via text from my love's nephew in El Salvador that he had been killed. The guy said he was sorry. The ruthress take even the innocent away. I'll mourn or join him.
Just want to pass to stay out of jail until I decide what to do.

If you understood anything about the disease of addiction you might be able to view things from a different view instead of making your harsh judgements and not even knowing anything about these people or their circumstances so before you go spouting off at the mouth again get informed and learn to speak as you would like to be spoken to instead of making harsh judgments about who should be parents and who needs to go to jail, maybe you yourself should spend some time their and then you wouldn't be so quick to condemn those who end up there
