Can I Add Methadone To Clean Urine And Pass A Drug Test That Needs To Be Positive For Methadone And Nothing Else?

i am on 76mls of methadone have been clean from heroin addiction for 8 months. things were great, me and my partner of 12 years were on a high because we were clean but for the past few weeks iv became majorly depressed and he my partner started getting 'itchy' he came home yesterday with heroin ....major regrets and i now feel so low and disgusted with us both its even worse because we are at the drug screening clinic today!! why i wasnt strong enough yesterday to say no is beyond me uuugh anyway my question is this if i got someone who is completely drug free to give me a urine sample and added a tiny droplet of methadone to it would i pass a drug screening test? i want to come clean we have been addicts for 10 years we have finally a brilliant drug worker who has helped us ALOT and put her neck on the line for us as well, the staff really liked us, they sent my partner away to detox 7 months ago and it cost them £3000 he was extremely lucky as that is hardly ever done in the town we live in and from the facility we are at i dnt even want to look them in the eyes. we feel so bad and dnt want to let anyone down. someone told us they have been putting methadone in clean urine for 2 yrs and getting away with it im not so sure about this? and am very anxious. my partner has more to lose he has manic depression and is on vallium we have been given weekly pick up in full for our methadone and he gets his vallium monthly hes worried theyl take our privaliges away frm us so has asked me to do it just this once and he will never put me in the position again. if this isnt going to work i dnt even want to try it id rather just come clean and be honest and get the help we need but im not getting through to him and i dnt wnat to make him look bad if he lies and i tell the truth. thanks.

No, you can not. The drug screen is looking for Methadone metabolites, meaning Methadone that your body processed already, not "raw Methadone ". This is how it's done with every drug they screen for.

No, drug screens look for the metabolites, not "raw" Methadone. Meaning Methadone that has been through your system, so to speak.

NO...The methadone will not be metabolized and this is worse than giving a dirty screen. Having no methadone in your system shows you don't need it and you are giving or selling it. A fast way to get permanently removed from and banned.

Negative, they are looking for the metabolites of the methadone, not methadone that is "raw". Methadone that your body has metabolized already. So the answer is no.

No, because they are screening it for the metabolites, meaning in other words, methadone that has gone through your system, not "raw" methadone, but "used" methadone. Do you follow me?

No, because they check for the metabolites of methadone. In other words, methadone that has passed through your body. You are putting in "raw" methadone, it has to be metabolized methadone.

Very old post but just in case someone else is reading. Adding urine to methadone was widespread for decades. I wouldn't try now as most meth places now test the metabolites ie, did the methadone pass through you.

Yes it will work if the give you a panel drug test but if it is sent off to a lab for analysis the main metabolite that methadone produces will not be present for a fact. You will fail your drug screen and the doctor at the clinic may make you detox and restart because the dr will know you cheated!

My doctor uses a test dip stick...if I use clean urine could I add a small amount of Methadone to the clean urine to test positive for Methadone with no issues?...it’s only an test dip strip no lab...?...please get back to me I will be forever in your debt!..but I need accurate information

Hi There, are you from the US? That sounds Awesome! My clinic takes Medicaid and I happen to be one of those patients that UAs are sent to Lab every time! Do you know if I mix a slight amount of clean urine with majority of methadone positive urine, will it come out clean? Thanks for your help and advice!

If it is a 12 panel strip test then yes,but if it is a LAB, I am SO SORRY.... I DON'T THINK THAT WILL WORK.BUT I GUESS IT VARIES FROM STATE TO STATE AND LABS TOO!

Can you add a small bit of clean urine to methadone positive urine?My clinic uses a LAB (LabCorp)and I CANNOT take the risk of it seaming to be tampered with. I was wondering if this would work if I just add a tiny bit of clean urine to the methadone positive (only)urine and the results would come back clean.If you have any information on this,I WOULD TRULY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP,TIME,& YOU WOULD BE SAVING ME FROM BAD LIFE QUALITY & LOOSING MY FAMILY!

Does your clinic use a lab?Mine uses a lab.LabCorp! I know that if it's a dipstick it will work but I am worried about LAB results if I take this route!

Yes you can freeze it,it lasts longer up to a year. You can also refrigerate it but it's only good for a few months.If you refrigerate,particles will form,just use coffee filters and a VERY sterile clean cup/s to remove it.Then put it in your dispenser.Hope this helps! I have tried this method before.
