Oxycontin is a time released formulation of the narcotic Oxycodone, it is now only available as the name brand manufactured by Purdue to try to better control the supply to curb abuse, theft and diversion.
The original formulation had the letters OC on the tablets, with a number designating the dosage on the opposite side. The new formulation uses the letters OP.
The color coding is as follows:
10mg white
20mg pink
30mg brown
40mg yellow
60mg red
80mg green
and the 160mg that is no longer manufactured was blue.
