nitrofurantin I took it yester got very sick. Upset stomach, chills, pain chest

Nitrofurantoin is an antibiotic, used to treat various types of infections.
Elvira, that chest pain is NOT a normal side effect, you should report that to your doctor immediately or go to your nearest Emergency care center.
Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and diarrhea.
