Hello Crystal,
If you have not taken neurostin, then how do you know it works? I can find all the information I need as to how it works, and what it is suppose to do, but the question I have is does it work? From what I have found, it does not work. And the company has a negitive rating with the BBB. Thanks for your reply.

Thank you for your comments Don, I was considering trying this medication, however I won't try it if it has a negative effect on breathing.

Hi, I'm a fit and healthy 39 year old male, I'm not on any other medication and I purchased 120 capsules of Neurostin, enough for 2 months. You have to take 2 caps per day 1 in the morning and 1 at night for 30 days before you start noticing anything.
I had no side affects what so ever (please note this was not a clinical trial just my personal experience) but I can't say I noticed any improvement in memory or brain function. I didn't take the second bottle as I couldn't see the point.

Now what I have found to be very effective is Bodyquick (also known as BrainQuicken). It too is a dietary supplement and I had instant results with this. I feel much more alert, new ideas pop into my head more often, I seem more aware or my surroundings and I dream much more vividly. The only thing is to not take any in the evening as I couldn't get to sleep, my brain would not be ready to sleep as it was constantly thinking new things up.
The other thing I noticed was that I was much more coordinated. I play squash with my work colleges, and my game was much better if I had taken bodyquick that day. Not sure if it was the placebo effect but I certainly didn't get any placebo effect with Neurostin.
I now combine bodyquick with memory exercises and this has great results for memory retention.

Your body can become used to bodyquick if you take it all the time and rather than upping the dosage I just take it 3 - 4 times a week or if I have a big day at work coming up and stick to 2 caps per day. It is also cheaper that Neurostin.

Hope you find this useful. Would be interested to hear if anyone has had any success with Neurostin.
