You are dead wrong
I was prescribed both xanax and colonopin at the same time together for 10 years. But that is illegal now. However I was still on them both legally at the same time for 10 years.

I don't have any insurance for losing Vegas. I'm from LA. I have a rare psych condition called pica and borderline personality disorder. I've been off meds for 3 weeks mainly little sleep due to shelters. Am I doomed for a state hospital visit.. I've lost a lot of weight. I'm depressed. Tired. Weak.. Irritable. Can someone just come and pick me up under their wings for a while.. I'm here at the at. Vincit shelter. In Las Vegas, NV. I suppose the psycho people dressed all up in white is OK. In the Austin, TX area check Javier Escalera. He was my doc for years, but you need to bring your records with you - old bottles, med recs from previous MDs, or pharmacy recs - because if you're NOT already established on a benzo or not actively having an anxiety/panic attack, he'll require seeing you a few times BEFORE writing anything for you. He was always VERY fair and worked with me and my uncle (who was also a patient of his) as well as other patients I knew he saw.

ive been on xanax 21 years, since I had my 1st child 10 months ago. My droctor quit practicing. so i had to go to a new doctor. Well i took in my old prescription of 1 mg 4x daily and she refuses to write more than 3 of the .5mg and It's not fair to be treated like an addict because I need a medicine I was put on at age 13 & need a stronger dose.. Plz get back to me as soon as possible.. Thank you.

I've been taking various anti-depressants in combination with various benzodiazepines over the past 24yrs due to a DX of Fibromyalgia, MDD, Generalized Anxiety, Panic Attacks, among others. My doctor has recently had an issue prescribing Xanax, after she's already given it to me before on & off due to the new Director heading her office. Please advise if you know of a psychiatric doc in CT able to take new patients on state insurance, willing to prescribe Xanax on an as needed basis while I'm still taking 1mg Klonopin twice a day as maintenance dose for my anxiety. Some days this is not enough. Or I'm willing to pay for meds out of pocket with just a prescription at a pharmacy that's not going to stick their nose in my business.

@EDDY, People like you are the real disease of our country, a country no longer free because its overpopulated with the likes of people such as yourself. The kind of people that are generally unhelpful with a permanently closed mind brainwashed from propaganda and the know it all mentality from which you suffer. What are they dumping into the air, water, or education system that is making people think they know what is best for others. If someone can have a better quality of life with benzo's, you still insist on vomiting a message about taking an herb instead. Do you know what's best for everyone? How everyone feels on a personal level? Quit trying to breast feed grown adults, and stick to your worrying about yourself. Todays delusional world full of babysitters just don't get it, will they ever? Stop trying to tell people what to do so they can be miserable when they have a real working solution to their personal health issues. People like you are the reason for this ridiculous mile long thread full of people unable to just get what they need in order to simply have a higher quality of life. If you want to put some herbs over a wound instead of a bandaid, its your life. Whatever works for you. But, stop judging, parenting, criticizing, legislating, punishing, pushing, etc., your naive and misinformed crap solutions on the rest of us. Keep your "know a little about everything, and a lot about nothing" solutions to yourself. Benzo's like many other prescription drugs that have been around for nearly a hundred years, have a proven history and track record, unlike your herbs. But i****s still attack them and the people that need them, because of this countries failed policies and true crime against the people, the worst crime and warfare blunder against people in history and to come. The war on drugs and the propaganda media promotional and failure of prohibition. The topic on here is not called "can someone tell me what's best for me, and keep me safe from myself too,?" Some people should play in traffic and stop harassing the rest of us that already look both ways before crossing the street.

I need to find a new doctor Service current meds and Phoenix because I moved here from Texas I'm not one of the type of people that use it as recreational are using for medical purposes because I trouble with chronic anxiety disorder and social phobia and insomnia so if you could please help me find a doctor that kid right after instruction are the free she ate it thank you

Yea BS - my dr had me on 8 mg of xanax and 4 mg of klonipin and 90 mg of amphetampine salts - dont talk if u dont know what ur talking about

Walkin clinics off the strip sometimes will. U gotta tell them that u have been on that medication for a while n out of town n forgot to bring it. That way the next time u want it u can just show another doctor that ur out n need another refill.
