Increase In Medicine

I am on 40mg of Lisinipril and 50 mg of metroprolol. BP was high so I went from 25 to 50 metroprolol. 50 making me feel dizzy and light headed. 25 was good. Doc say take every thing in the morning but I am wondering if I can take the extra 25mg of metroprolol in the pm before bed so I do not feel so bad during the day

Normally, such side effects will wear off after a few weeks, after your body adjusts to the new dosage.

However, if the symptoms are that problematic then splitting the dosages can be a good thing to do, but you should check with your doctor first to make sure it is okay for you to do so.
