Hi peach,

The pill in description is identified as Sulfamethoxazole + Trimethoprim DS (800 mg - 160 mg); a sulfonamide antibacterial combination that is used in the treatment of a variety of bacterial infections.

Is your bleeding related to an infection? If it's not the result of an infection, taking any antibiotic would be of no use. That said, you may want to have it checked out by a gynecologist or doctor just to make sure you're proceeding with the right form of treatment.

I hope this helps!
