Gildess

My pharmacy switched me to Gildess and within 2 months I have gained 15 pounds along with having an almost constant painful, itchy rash on my outer labia (no yeast). I'm also exhausted by 6pm every night and have a RAVENOUS appetite on this drug. I can't stop the BC pill because I use it to control my endometriosis. I switch back to another pill of the same hormonal dosage, just a different brand this weekend and am praying that when I start this brand this Sunday all of this goes away!!!

Hello, Tuwa! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having.

While the FDA lists the others as being possible side effects of oral contraceptives, the rash isn't normal and is something you should have checked out by your doctor. It might be something that requires treatment.

As to the other symptoms, if they clear up with the new one, it will likely take a few weeks, they aren't likely to clear up immediately.

Other side effects may include headache, nausea, PMS like symptoms and breakthrough bleeding.

What does the rash look like?
