Did you mean DIlaudid? The name is quite often misunderstood. It is a potent opiate that is used to treat severe pain, and it can be prescribed for people that are not cancer patients, but most doctors are cautious about doing so.
The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
Is there anything else I can help with?
Was this helpful?
