Do Many People Die After Taking Morphine

I only ask cause I never dabbled that far and believe my loved one may have (perhaps not), but it's all so scary to me as a pill addict myself I want to know what to stay clear of. I want to live. She was quite innocent and in denial so it's so hard to imagine lord willing, I'm wrong. Better safe than sorry is my theory, god bless.

That's a very good question as Morphine is a very powerful opiate reserved for the treatment of severe pain. It has several routes of administration. Recreational or opiate naive patients can overdose and die at relatively low doses especially if taken with other cns depressants. You mentioned you were a pill addict, not to pass judgement but many morphine related od's result from pills (especially er). When used as directed morphine can be a god send for those suffering with excruciating pain. I sincerely hope your impression is wrong but all you can do is try and help.

It's always best to be safe rather than sorry. Addiction robs us from our once innocent selfs. No one is immune from this disease of denial. Yes sadly many people do die from morphine overdoses especially when used with other drugs and for those will little tolerance.I hope your loved one isn't abusing this powerful narcotic but you can never be certain.
