Hi ikem,
According to Wiki, Cypron (cyproterone) is a steroidal anti-androgen that apparently was "never marketed". I don't know if this is still the case, but after reading that, I'm curious to know how or if you managed to get it prescribed?
Its indications state that it is intended for use as hormone therapy for treating certain types of cancer, but also has a number of other uses geared around its progestational properties (i.e. severe acne, or hirsutism in females)
As far as side effects are concerned, there are honestly too many to list on here without writing a small children's book Lol. But to name a few that I came across: hair loss, weight gain, loss of libido, weakness, lack of coordination, inability to move legs or arms, chest pain, depression, confusion, hallucinations, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, and many more... However, not everyone who takes these types of medications experiences such side effects..they are more or less 'possible risk factors'.
Have you talked with your doctor about it?
