Hi Nanette,

Depending on how long you've been taking clonazepam, I would strongly encourage you to contact your doctor first about setting up some sort of tapering schedule that you can easily adhere to. From what I've heard, withdrawal symptoms from this type of drug are nothing short of dangerous if you don't wean down properly after long term use. Reported symptoms may include but are not limited to the following: anxiety, distress, depression, flu like symptoms, insomnia, weight loss, paranoia, derealization, fatigue, aching jaw, etc, just to name a few.

I sure hope you're able to seek the right kind of help before taking the plunge! Keep us posted if you will!

Thanks for the info. I am totally off Clanopan. I went very slowly with smaller and smaller pieces of the lowest pill.
I am so glad I did it. I may have had week of strangeness..maybe 2. BUT I now have no problem at all. Thank God.
