Benfage Forte , Usage And Benefit

I get occassional upper backache and sometimes stiffness in neck. I was prescribed a drug named benfage forte [ Contents : benfotiamine , inositol , alpha- lipoic acid , mecobalamin , pyridoxine hydrochloride ] . Whether I can take this medicine as a vitamin intake or is this medicine applied for specific condition. will appreciate if anyone can give me some details for understanding.

It contains mainly Vitamin B1 and B12 in a difference. Benfotiamine (another form of B1) is fat-soluble and absorbed easily in the body than B1-thiamin. Similarly, mecobalamine (methyl cobolamine) helps better than normal B12. While all ages can take this, older people have better effect for pain related arthiritis, sciatica and other forms of nerve damage.
