Ambroxol Syrup
UpdatedHi currently on holiday in Bali and my three year has picked up a bad chesty cough. She has mild asthma but her inhalers weren't helping so got hotel doctor to take a look. He came this morning and gave her ambroxol 15mg syrup and told us to give her 7.5mls three times a day. I'm very worried after looking this medication up on line as dosage recommended seems to be 2.5 mls for children her age. She hasn't had any reaction but wonder if we need another opinion or of anyone has had a similar experience and if this doseage is ok????
