What Would Cause Me To Get A False Positive For Xanax

please help me i tested positive for xanax on my drug test for a job & the medicine i had taken just a hour before did not show up please help me clear my name

There are actually quite a few substances that can cause false positives for Benzodiazepine drugs like Xanax. What was the name of the medication(s) you took prior to the drug test? If you are taking anything else, I will be happy to check them for you, if you post back with more information.

I take Adderal (90 mg), Xanax 2 mg), and Zoloft 200 mg) daily. I recently had a blood test and I was told that I had 5 mg of Xanax in my system. Is it possible that my Xanax mg (in the blood test) showed 5 mg instead of the 2 mg because of the Adderal or Zoloft? II know they are testing for Benzos abuse, but I only take what is prescribed by my psychiatrist. Please help. Thank you!

Are you taking ambien or lunesta? Both of these can show false positives for benzodiazepines

I'm upset I tested positive for Xanax and I don't take that. I take hydrocodone ambien Adderall 150 MG zoloft Lasix And lexapro... I'm heated over this.. please help

I failed a drug screen for Xanax. I do not take Xanax. I take diazepam 5 mg a day, Effexor X-R 225 mg,synthroid0.075mg,Lisinopril / Hctz 10mg/12.5,Aleve 220mg, ibuprofen 220 mg and I also take Vitamin d3 2000 in daily a 325 mg aspirin daily and a garlic capsule of 1000 mg along with a multi vitamin called abc plus. Will any of t here or the combination cause a false positive. I also take oxycodone 30 mg 5 times a day. I only take the medicines I am prescribed and I can't figure out how I had Xanax in my urine when I know I didn't take it.
