What is this? I was told it is generic valium but have not found any reference. Please help. ## This is not a Valium tablet, nor any other type of prescription medication. Products manufactured by Vinco that have their logo on them are all over the counter nutritional supplements. I'm not sure which one this is, because they manufactured many of them and don't include images or marking information on their website. My dad is in the hospital and he has been taking 10mg of Valium for 40 years. Nurses haven't given any to him for three days, he only takes at HS. He is 86, fell and is confused. Every time he goes to the hospital, he gets confused. He is normally very sharp, well read and can discuss and debate topics. They put him on Ativan, because he has a half pint of whiskey per day. My friend got a bunch of 10mg valium's from pakistan.. They don't have any writing on them, just a line through one side. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about them or if these were real? Received blue pills with rouche rouche imprinted on one side and Valium 10 (R) on the other. No heart shaped cut out. Are these real? ## Hi Sandy, If these pills are real then they should be round & blue, imprinted with "ROCHE ROCHE, VALIUM 10" along with a heart-like cutout in the center of the pill. How long is it taking everyone to regain cognitive function after withdrawing from prescription benzodiazepines such as Valium and Clonazepam? It took me 2 years after I stopped taking clonazepam to have the neurotransmitters reconnect, to the point where I could problem solve again. (I am still not back to 100% brain function, as I am on Lyrica and that is causing horrible memory problems and a feeling of being emotionally disconnected). There is a great feed on this site on Lyrica and memory problems. The benzodiazepines even affected my eating habits, as I was a vegetarian for 30 years, and on clonazepam for nerve pain, I no longer could stand vegetables. This was better than the Valium...as I could not eat anything on that medication, and all I wanted to do was throw up if I smelled...

My friend was given a bottle of these and took a bunch. Was told they were valiums... Pink Oval Pill. 0.5mg on one side. Please respond. I have never taken it and it was just prescribed for me. I have taken other benzos but they don't help my extreme anxiety. Hoping this will. ## These medications typically work within minutes of taking them and don't need to be taken regularly to have their intended effect. That's why the are usually prescribed to be taken 'as needed'.
