Vit B12 Defficiency Due To Prolonged Use Of Omez 20

I am 37 Years old man from Salem, Tamilnadu. I have been taking Omez 20 for the past 6-7 Yrs now due to hyper acidity. Only Omez 20 has suppressed the acid formation in my case. Now, for the past 6 months I am suffering from severe knee pain, other joint pains, muscular pain & other kinds of restlessness. I get tired soon & do not have enough sperm formation. I do not enjoy sex too. My hairs are all grey now for 2 - 3 Years.

On a recent diagnosis I found that my Vit B12 level has gone very low 147.6 pg/ml due to prolonged use of omez 20.

I am a Vegetarian. Please help me. The doctor at Bengalaru has prescribed Neurobion Forte Injection daily 1 for a week, then weekly 1 for a month & then Monthly 1 for life long. In case of diet, he has asked me to drink more of milk.

Is it a serious case? What will suppress the acid coz I have given up Omez 20? I will try to completely stop deep fry food & Papad. Usually after meals, I have belching problem & reverse of undigested food comes out from my mouth with water.

Doctors, Please recommend me something useful to get rid of the acidity & knee pain problems.

That said, Nitesh, if the many problems you've stated have been caused by a deficiency in Vitamin B12, then they can only be resolved by following your doctor's instructions to replenish the amount of it in your body.

And what else have you tried for the acidity? Have you tried a regular antacid, such as calcium carbonate, which won't deplete the nutrients in this manner?
