Triamterene Not Working...
UpdatedI started taking Triamterene HCTZ 37.5-25mg each morning, along with plavix and asprin. I drink at least 100 oz of water every day, and I find myself retaining more fluid and urinating less. What am I doing wrong?

Hello, Shelly! How are you?
As detailed by the NIH, you are likely taking it more fluid than you are expelling. 100oz is a lot. The FDA lists the other typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and hypotension.
Are you on any other medications?
How much do you take in of other liquids? Even fluids in your food counts.
