Tramadol Shortage (Top voted first)

Does anyone know of a pharmacy with tramadol available? I tried ordering it but everyine keeps telling me its out of stock and not available until after the holidays. I run out of my rx today and can't wait until after the holidays so any help is appreciate it.

Yes indeed, all of a sudden there is a 1 month stoppage of Tramadol supplies. Thousands of people including me are forced into acute withdrawal syndrome and face the risk of seizures and even Death. The people responsible for this need to be held accountable. Now instead of going to work tomorrow I will have to check in to hospital or clinic as I am already suffering withdrawal syndrome. There will be HELL TO PAY FOR THIS as I am organizing a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT on behalf of everyone who has been forced to suffer or has been hurt by this travesty of justice.

Hi Lindy, I am in the same boat as you are. I suffered a seizure yesterday from abrupt withdrawal of the Tramadol due to the incompetence and illegal business practices of these online pharmacy sites. Stay away from EZ Tramadol dot com and any of the Heath Solutions Network websites. These 2 companies have MONOPOLIZED the online Tramadol business and between them they own perhaps 90% of all USA Tramadol websites. I would recommend that you call your doctor and explain the story. Your doctor should be able to write you a legit script which you can have filled at CVS or Walgreens or whatever. I just picked up a script that my doc wrote me this morning and paid $25.00 for 180 tramadol pills. The Web sites are PRICE GOUGING and in breech of many other laws. STAY AWAY. I learned my lesson the hard way. Now I am quitting this poison and will gradually taper off over a 3 month period supervised by my doctor. Best of luck to you. When I was in dire straights 2 days ago and had a buzzy head, intense Restless Leg Syndrome, cold sweats and etc...I felt hopeless and like I was going to die it was so bad. My brother was able to score me 4 vicodin pills which got me through till I could get in to see my doctor. I hope all the best for you. None of us deserved this hell.

Hi....unfortunately NO. Every website I checked with the exception of the overseas websites that charge $250 for 90 pills and deliver in 2-4 weeks HAS NO TRAMADOL. Yet many of these unscrupulous website operators are still taking orders! These people are greedy POS and put thousands of lives in danger by their unethical and illegal business practices. No warning of a shortage, no backup supplies...NOTHING. These a**holes just left me and thousands like me and you hanging...even though acute withdrawal from Tramadol can cause death. Needless to say I am extremely pissed and am going after these people with everything I have. I will certainly be bringing lawsuit and have already reported them to the FDA and the DEA and to their local law enforcement. I suffered a seizure yesterday while I went out to get my mail. I was literally lying in the highway while trucks and cars were zipping by me. These companies will tell you there is a nation wide shortage of tramadol. They are full of s***. Local pharmacies have plenty of stocks. I had to come clean with my primary care doctor and explained to him everything...that I was taking 6-8 pills a day for more than 3 years for lower back pain. Then WHAM....supplies abruptly stopped. If the websites in question were honest and ethical they would have not taken the order I placed last Monday (12 days ago). They would have put in BOLD letters all over their site that their supplies dried up and that they are out of stock. They would have further notified people when stocks would be back to normal. They did none of those things. Instead, EZ TRamadol.com took my order and charged my credit card. EZ Tramadol also sells your information to hacks who will charge your credit card. Be Careful!. I am lucky. I called my primary Care doctor who is going to help me taper off. He wrote me a script which I just had filled....180 Tramadol pills for $25.00 at CVS. The online ripoffs are raping us and charging $120.00 for 180 pills. Everything about these websites is illegal and unethical and I am going after them with everything I have with a lawsuit even if it costs me my life savings. I am pissed. These people are responsible for causing untold suffering. If I were you I would forget about the online websites and try to get your doctor to give you a real script. Best of Luck to you.

Rob, I feel sorry for you. So mad at a system of drug manufactures and suppliers that made you addicted to Pain Killers.

Buddy, you got to look into a mirror and realize that instead of blaming everyone else for your addiction, you got to realize that you only have yourself to blame for where you are at today. Suing the manufactures, suppliers, and web site owners for your addiction is pathetic.

Complaining how they charge "$150.00" per bottle when Wall Mart only charges "$24.00" is an unfair comparison. How much did the doctor you spoke with charge you for the consultation and write the prescription, and did Wall Mart have to ship the drugs to you. When you add it up, it is a comparable price. Trying to take down the only supply for the thousands of people who depend on these "Websites" for needed medications is selfish and would leave many in the same position you find yourself in. Chill out, and realize your addition is your problem and please get some professional help.

You know people for the prices I have been seeing for the past month and a half $125 is great for 180 and he gets it right out, and he is a really nice guy. I don't think you are going to get discounts because of the big bust.

David. I'm going to go ahead and add on to what law lady was saying to you as I found myself extremely pissed off at you. Who the hell do you think you are to go and judge someone you know nothing about? Did you EVER stop for even one second to think that maybe some peolple have no choice but to go with online pharmacies bec. they don't have insurance? Prob. not bec. you were too busy trying to sound like a no it all and like you just have it together like no other. I'm no f...ing junkie and chances are you prob. take a butt load and you're just having a bad day and felt like taking it out on someone you don't even know. Yes, the prices are high, but when a person does have legitimate pain like I do and I can guarantee so does every one else on this thread, and NO INSURANCE, they'll pay those prices. For your information, maybe you shouldv'e gone back to the Dec. threads and you would have seen that there had been a shortage, but you didn't think to do that did you. By the way, if you have a doctor, why the hell were you on this thread in the first place. You need to go to some threads where your advise is needed. It's not here.

In this instance, a class action lawsuit will not go anywhere and will be a waste of your time and money.

Most medications have a yearly mandatory manufacturing limit that is put in place by the FDA and DEA. The amount is figured based on prior year prescription sales and any projected changes in prescribing practices for the new year.

They do it this way to help gain better control of the prescription drug supply to try to prevent theft and diversion. If there is only a limited amount available, then everyone is keeping a better eye on their supply.

Once the limit for the year is hit, a production stoppage such as this has to be done, the manufacturers have no choice. They cannot start to manufacture new product to fill prescriptions, until they receive their new allotment number sometime after the start of the new year.

I am very sorry that you are all faced with such problems, I hate to see anyone suffer, but these are the facts of the matter and the way it works.

Part of the laws to help control the supply also include how much a prescription can be written for in each month for someone, as well as how much the pharmacy can provide them with, how much they can keep in stock and etc.

The biggest problem has actually occurred due to the practices of some pharmacies. They were not complying with those laws. Many were found to just be ordering in as much as they could each month and filling prescriptions for more than the allowable amounts.

Thus, your gripes should really be directed elsewhere and there is no lawsuit you can file against the manufacturer, as they are in full compliance with the manufacturing statutes.

You are wrong and the ball is already rolling. I easily found 2 attorneys to take this up. These practices are unfair or deceptive acts or practices under consumer protection laws (which don't apply in every state) Leaving thousands of people to suffer acute withdrawal syndrome which can lead to death IS A BIG PROBLEM....and if you don't see it you are part of the problem. Charging people $150 for a bottle of pills that can be purchased for $25 at Walgreens is called price gouging. The way the online pharmacy business has basically been monopolized is part of the root cause. Lack of supply chain management is another and is a violation of many FDA statutes. The ball is already rolling and 2 attorneys are already on board. This isn't right and I'm not going to let it fly. Lawsuits will be filed within weeks. Complaints have already been filed with the FDA. Whatever is wrong with this online pharmacy industry, it is hurting people and putting their lives in jeopardy. Saving lives and preventing suffering ARE NEVER A WASTE OF TIME to anyone with a heart and soul and common sense.

there are many pharmacies now sending supplies. I've received orders everyday for the past 3 days ( i had placed several orders with several providers in desparation). I now have more than I need. If anyone lives in my area, I am willing to help you. Just email me. Im not going to post the names either for the same reasons Keith isn't. I will discuss in personal email if needed. good luck everyone and hang in there. I know its easy for me to say since I've finally got a supply. sorry you are feeling sooo bad, I empathize and sympathize.

Yea I know how u feel. Im thinking about it to. Im scared though of my dr gettin mad at me for it and not helping me. Id love to get off them. But its hard tryin to wean myself off them so far! I hv 16 left and I think im just gonna keep minimizing till gone and making it a new year resolution to myself to get off them! Ive been taking them everyday 6-8 a day for 7yrs now. And I want to b done with them. I can deal with my pain a different natural way! Its not healthy doin what I do to deal with my bad knees, migraines and ovarian cycsts ive been dealing with for along time now. And my OBGYN is the one who prescribed them to me originally. And it was over from there.... I shoulda stopped when I was able to :"( so mad at myself for letting it get this bad : (

I am an affiliate who owns sites and have put money and marketing into this. If you think we are the thieves, most of us found ourselves out of work after the recession started, some of us, like me, thought this was perfectly legal and ok (I myself buy benzos overseas) so I signed up. It was very hard to get started and hard to get customers. I have built up a very profitable business BUT no matter how many times they have raised prices I have not. This means I actually take a hit and get NO commission on some orders but it is worth the loyalty. I am with RXAffiliates aka Cartadmin. They have increasingly ceased paying us or payed when it was convenient over the last months. Their web expires in February and though they state as of 31 December they are not taking orders THEY ARE--and even shipping a few. They are certainly taking card numbers and my suspicion, and I am owed my commissions tomorrow Monday 7th January--is that NONE of us affiliates will get paid nor will any of our customers get their pills. I then think they will bang everyones cc's and take off. They are already so hidden behind so many people it is next to impossible to find them.

I have kept a list of my customers and am looking for ANY global site that is ready to sign me up as an affiliate NOW so I can contact my customers, offer them the lowest prices, preferably what I am charging now (lowest on market really for Cartadmin/RXAffiliates) and get everyone feeling ok. I am very concerned medically and concerned for the scam aspect as well. I defended the practice of OP's as I feel that it did NOT break laws and when it did it was avoiding shipping to those states.

SG, I feel the same way, I don't like vic or perc either the makRe me feel cloudy. This tramadol has me functioning like normal. If I could just stick to the 180 pills my doctor gives me a month I will be ok. Right now I am not doing that. I live in Pa. very close to the pharmacies that got busted. I don't understand though. You have to fill out a form and then a doctor reviews it right?

I just wanted to let you all know that I have received 5 orders in the last week. All the orders I had placed when no one was shipping have all come at once. One was 90 one is 120 and 3 are the 180 fills. None of you are getting them? If u had orders placed in december I am sure they will start coming in. I also was struggling with wd at christmas so my heart goes out to you. Things are moving again I think so be strong!
