Telsar Beta 50

my mother has been taking Lupdip 2.5 for for blood pressure problem. The Dr. has sudenly prescribed her TELSAR BETA 50MG TAB for high blood pressure. how long will she continue with tis drug.

normally a drugs is changed to provide a better control over the specified disease and most often it is done when the previous drugs can no more control the condition ,hence we require a better drug to keep the pressure in the normal range. No drug must be stopped without the permission of the physician. Most often these kind of drugs are continued ... a blood pressure patient should always refer a physician at a regular interval to keep a note of the patient's health conditions.

That is correct and she may need a medication to keep her blood pressure under control for the rest of her life.

The dosage and specific medication used may change, but she may still always need to be on something.

Telsar contains the active ingredient Telmisartan, which is an ARB and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, dizziness and stomach pain.
