Stopped Xarellto Temporally?
Updatedi am under doctors care and waiting for the results of my second di dimer test. After 6 months of taking it I am off it for about 10 days. I have bad knees today I woke up with pain and swelling don't know if it's my knees or another clot. Saturday no doctor. Can I restart the drug for a day or two?

Hello, John! How are you? Has anything changed?
If you've had prior clots, you should likely seek out an urgent care or ER and have this checked out to be safe.
I'd not recommend restarting the medication, without a doctor's approval. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Xarelto as including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising.
