Skipping White Pills On Sprintec 28 Day

I am on my 4th week of my 2nd pack of Sprintec 28 pills (the white pills) My 1st pack, I only took 3 white pills, up to Tues, had my period 4 days, then started my NEW (2nd) pack Sunday Nov 27. I had sex Dec 6. It is now Dec 21, & I am into my 4th day of white pills, & no period yet. Is there a chance I could be pregnant since skipped those few white pills in the 1st pack? Arent those white pills just sugar pills & only there to "remind" you to take them?

Yes, you are correct, I double checked the information to confirm, the white pills contain only inactive ingredients to keep you in the habit of taking them daily and have no bearing on the pregnancy protection.

However, you did say you are only on your 2nd month of using them and that may explain the issue, as well. It is perfectly normal to experience menstrual irregularities for the first 3 months of taking them, while your body adjusts to the medication.

You should consult your doctor to be sure, but it's likely just your body getting used to your taking them.

My doctor suggested that I might skip the white pills (the fourth week of Tri-Sprintec) and go straight to the grey pills (the first week) of another pack. I struggle with migraines, and she thought this might help me get less of them. Do you think this will help or make worse a migraine issue?

Hi everyone
This is my first time taking 28day sprintec im in my 4th week ,but on the instructions it says that i should finish my white pills also , the problem is that i got my period on the last "blue pill" i dont know what to do ! Should I keep taking my white pills or should i start a new pack?

i just started taking this and i have been on my period since i strated te pack i am bow to the white pills i want to be off my period since i have been in it for a Month straight any suggestions

Hi I started my period on march 20th 2014 and im on the 12th day of period. Im taking sprintec. Is this normal to have a period for this long? It doesnt seem like its going to end. And im suppose to start the white pill this sunday coming up on april 11th

I've been on Sprintec for 3 years and I completely skip the white pills evey month. They're just placebos anyway and are only there to get you in the habit of taking a oill every evening. I always get my pwriod on the 4th day of the whote pills and it stops the day before I start my new pack.

I have en using sprintec birth control for 8 months i had a period on the 29 of feb through the 1st i took all my blue pills but skipped all the white pills and i still had a period is something wrong

Youre supposed to get your period the white pills are just reminders they're not active

Hello. I had this same issue with sprintec as well and what I had to do was actually stop taking the pills for a few months and start back again. It was the only thing that stopped me from bleeding otherwise I bled for like three months straight basically
