I'm on probation and I was using k2 but I quit and had been clean for 5 days; after I quit I was taking zantac to help with the withdraws when I went in to take a urine test and I came up positive for methamphetamines. To make a long story short it was the f***in zantac that made me come up but I had already admitted to using, so know I'm on house arrest, have to take more drug classes and I'm gonna be on probation longer. After using this, will there be any side effects in pregnancy? ## Hello Mam, Congrats on your pregnancy. If you are apprehensive about this tablet, I think you should take a second opinion. Don't be scared to talk to another doctor. And in my opinion, if your doc has prescribed this then it should be safe. :) But finally, you should be comfortable, so maybe a second opinion would be best. Best o' luck. ## Hi Ann - Congrats on your pregnancy and hope that you are doing well. Aciloc (Ranitidine) is in pregnancy category B in the United States, meaning that it is considered generally safe. I assume you were prescribed this for some acid reflux (heartburn) during the pregnancy? Like NJ said, if you truly feel concerned it would not hurt to get a 2nd opinion. If you experience troubl...

allergy to sulfur and need a list of sulfur based antibiotics. Doctors keep giving them to me. ## small beige pill with the nuber 75 on one side - it has a funny shape to it. ## There is really no comprehensive list, especially since some many contain an inactive ingredient that is sulfur based. Your best bet is to just make your pharmacist aware of your allergy, so they can screen the prescriptions for you, when you get them filled. ## Tammy, that tablet contains 75mgs of Ranitidine, a generic for Zantac. This is used primarily to treat heartburn. ## Try Pure sulfur to verify if you actually have an allergy to Sulfur..... Not the Pharma version. Allergies generally are from the processing of material to be able to SELL... Do your research... Chances are you do not have an allergy to Su...

And need to know ASAP! ## It is not a common occurence, but yes, the Ranitidine, which is the active ingredient in Zantac can cause a false positive for Amphetamines, it really depends on the reliability of the test. It might be a good idea to let them know that you are taking it, just in case. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Will citalopram or Zantac make you fail pee test for meth

Can this cause a false positive for methamphetamine on a urine test? A friend of mine had a urine test and it showed methamphetamine in it. They do not take methamphetamine. ## YES. It has repeatedly happened to me bc of the amount of Zantac I was taking for stomach issues. Have them call the makers of Zantac and ask for a nurse. Make sure they record it, bc they say that they can't give any information to consumers, but can to a dr. They said to me on the phone that it does, so that is why u need to record.

This is the number to the company that makes Zantac: 1-203-798-9988. Demand to talk to the company nurse. She told me three times yes Zantac causes methamphetamine to show up in your system now. Now get up off your bursts and fight back. Go to your local pharmacies and demand that they put it back behind the counter where it belongs. Make signs, let people know!
