Psoratic Arthritis
Updatedstarted taken meloxicam 15mg a week tomorrow,for psoratic arthritis it has not reduced the pain, do I need to take it longer before it kicks in. also i have cramp in my hands and pins & needels

The FDA classifies this medication as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.
That said, it should have started to help right away, similar to Tylenol or Advil. If not, it's most likely not the right medication to help you and you'll need to see your doctor to try something else.
