Problem With Vildagliptin

I have been taking vildagliptin sometimes with metformin and sometimes alone in the morning after breakfast.
I have been facing serious headache. On contacting doctor stopped to take this medicines. But still the headache exists.
I want to know for howmany days this headache remains and what should I do.???
