I am currently taking Prexum 20 mg for Hypertention
Does this drug cause one to gain weight around the waistline.
My legs are thin but the weight seems to be forming around the waist

Prexum contains the active ingredient Perindopril, which is an ACE inhibitor that is used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions.

And no, weight gain isn't a common side effect of it.

Have you consulted your doctor about it?
