My periods continued for more than 10 days, so the doctor prescribed me Pause 500 and told me to take it. The same problem came back. I want to know whether it will have any side effects?

i am facing the same problem since 6-8 months now.
Before this I had a very normal 25 day cycle.. very regular cycle..
But now I either have heavy flow period with 3 days heavy flow with many clots.. or a medium flow period which goes on for 8-10 days..
Though I have PCOS i dont know if this is normal..
Am trying to conceive and am pissed off of my periods problems..

I have been having excessive bleeding with clotting when i had my periods last time. The scan report was normal but the doc said my uterus was slightly big in size. I was prescribed pause tabs. But i want to know how does the size of the uterus affect bleeding?

Dear Mithu,
I had similar problems. My gynaec suggested me to take a sonograpy. It revealed 4.5 cms fibroids. Currently on my way to surgery to remove the fibroids. Guess, you should see a gynaec soon or get a sonography done of pelvis and uterus.

Plz help me. I have had bleeding problems for over a decade. Heavy bleeding, clots, extreme pain every month for 10 to 15 days. Tried taking pain killers such as crocin pain relief, imol plus, nicip plus, voveran sr, meftal spas, brufen. Nothing seems to help. Drs are baffled! HELP PLZ

Hi, i am 25 years married women, during the age of mensuration way back the first cycle continued one month, doctor prescribed pause, iron capsule, and preimulat-10 after having necessary examination, afterwards my period regularized, with usual heavy bleeding. Now after one year of marriage, for the last two moths my period gets irregular, in May it missed, in June it was less than usual, in July it started in time but continued for 7-8 days. Now it has got intemittent blleding after hault of one day or so, with clotted blood. Can I get some advice from the forum? can't meet doctor now for some family obligations. URGENT PLEASE

Pause-MF contains the active ingredients Tranexamic Acid and Mefenemic Acid, it is used to help treat or prevent bleeding.

It can cause side effects, such as: nausea, headaches, nervousness and diarrhea.
