Panic Mode Help!!

I haven't been taking my pill at the same time but it close to the same time i skipped maybe two pills but took them just as soon as i remembered... i normally start at the end or beginning of each month well i haven't started yet andI'm freaking out!!! I have takin two test and they say I'm negative! I just took my first white pill tonight!!should i give it a few days? Can i be pregnant and start my period? Should i just relax? By the way my first kids were twins and there my only my husband and i are scared to death we are gonna have twins again...

First ,Calm Down. I know that's easier said than done, but try. Taking Birth Control Pills is not a guarantee you won't get pregnant. In the beginning, It is possible to be pregnant and still have a period. The fact that you and your husband have twins doesn't have anything to do with this. But, I can understand why your concern is magnified. Pregnancy tests, even in a doctors office can have false results. The only thing you can do right now is wait. There use to be a shot that your dr could give you. If you weren't pregnant you would start and if you were it wouldn't hurt the baby. But, I don't remember the name of the medication. And I'm not sure if they still do that.

Did you completely miss the pills, or just take them late? In other words, did you take any of them more than 24 hours late?

If yes, then there is a chance you could be pregnant and most tests aren't accurate until you're more than a week late.

If you only took them late, but within 24 hours of the time you should have, then it isn't likely that you're pregnancy risk was raised very much, but you could have disrupted your cycle, which would explain your being late.

Have you consulted your doctor? They'd be the best person to talk to about what's going on to help ease your mind.

The more you stress and worry about it, the more you're going to disrupt your hormones, which could delay your period even longer.
